After more than 25 years of doodling , doing acrylic painting, and a long rest, I am learning to draw " Leonardo de Vinci " way . It is about shading the right way. Good to review … The best thing is to remember to not press too hard on your work. SO a big reminder to me. The principal of shading applies with the paint too. keep on going ..

I wish you good luck with it. I have no talent in art whatsoever. I could not paint like DaVinci.

@beenice2 I hope you can paint as well as he did. They can train you but the talent has to live in you. Hope it goes well. Keep us posted. Maybe you can take a photo of some of your work and post it on myLot.

My art is more needle and thread, but I do appreciate the effort that others put into pencil and paper of brush and paint.

I love paintings and the likes and this one is an amazing piece of art. But painting does not love me.
