So yesterday we spend the day at my husbands grandparents beach house. Since our van need to get fix. It’s radiator died on us during the trip. We didn’t know anything was wrong with it. We got it fixed yesterday it only took the guy less then 4 hours to get the part we need and had it fixed by 3pm. At that time it was too late to leave the area so we decided to stay the night and leave this morning. So we took the kids to the pool their that was for the residents and there guess only. The kids had a good time playing in the pool. Then we took them on the dock and walked it and went back to the house. Then stopped at small place that is knkw to have good service and got town food. It was yummy! Then hit the store and put the kids to bed. It was a long day but an extra day of fun and of course this meant left traffic on our 6 hour drive home.

It was lucky you were in town when needed repairs. You & family had a nice extra day in the city!

We were not in a town we where in a city. We where not home we where out of town meaning vacation. So we where not in luck in that respect. Where we were of course had an autoshop but that didn’t mean they had the part or the ability to fix the van. It was just luck that the place was popular and had a lot of work. We where also lucky we where on vacation with family that was willing to give us the $815 to get it fixed

@oahuwriter no new adventures just came home after we got it fixed. Bad things happen or else you’ll never learn to grow

Aw shucks, I'm sorry you had radiator problems, but glad you were able to get it fixed quickly. You were also lucky that it didn't happen somewhere in the middle of nowhere that would have left you stranded.

@ShyBear88 Hopefully the cost of the repair didn't set you back too much.
