OMG! This baby let me get So Close!

We were driving through my favorite haunt.. the cemetery and this baby deer walked across the road in front of us..
All by himself... Mom must have been off grabbing a meal.
So I got out and started taking pics.. and then I got closer and closer and he wasn't scared.. he just kept on eating..
I even said to him.. " if your Mama knew you were letting me this close to you.. she'd be real mad!"
I thought i was out there for about 20 minutes.. but my roommate.. who sat in the car told me it was at least 40! oops.. I guess time does get away from you when you are having fun!
So this baby White tail Deer is probably only about 6 weeks old. give or take a couple weeks. (he wouldn't tell me his birth date)
I think this is my favorite pic. I have been waiting years to get close enough to get a hot like this!

@amitkokiladitya In the cemetery.. they are not hunted. so the mom probably isn't as scared as a normal deer out in the woods wood be. as she is used to seeing people walking and driving and taking her picture.. and I think maybe this baby saw that his mom was not to scared so he was very confident too.. if he leaves the cemetery though. this could be very bad for him and might get him killed. he is a prey animal and should usually run from people and other predatory creatures!

that's a sweet little baby deer. The deer really likes your company else it would have run away.
