Covid 19...the end of private schools?

Covid 19 has really affected many businesses. Entrepreneurs are incurring huge loses and some have opted out of the race.
Ever since it was announced that learning will resume next year in January (Kenya), some owners of private schools have sold out there schools to investors, and some have transformed theirs into residential houses. A big percentage of those who are still holding on aren't certain whether they will make it or not, considering some schools are newly built and some of the owners are still servicing loans and other debts. Only a few private schools are sure about reopening in January.
This means that, public/government-sponsored schools will have an influx of students next year. And I doubt that the government is really prepared for what's coming.
Has the pandemic affected private schools in your country?

@Swayamsiddha only a few colleges are doing online classes here. It has been a challenge for those with a high population.

@Mbenieve Their business is standing at an inopportune time. On the bright side this will be a great lesson for them to go forward.
