...not really a "project", but what was scheduled for today, which was "reading". I put down the Abnormal Psychology book I've been slogging through and picked up one of the fiction books on my pile:
The Oath, by Frank Peretti.
There's definitely and air or creepy-ness about it, but thankfully not "Stephen King" creepy. Before each chapter is an "entry" from a journal or leaflet from the town this partly takes place in that point to something that shouldn't have been done back in the 1800s. I'm guessing that whatever that was will be revealed some time during the story, as some characters allude to something they're not supposed to talk about (I'm thinking their ancestors took an "Oath" not to talk about it, and its been passed down.
I've read one and a portion of two other books by Frank Peretti years ago: This Present Darkness and a portion of Piercing the Darkness. I didn't read through the second book because it didn't catch my interest as much as the first.
