I recently learned about one of the strangest accidents in history. It is called the Great Molasses Flood. It occurred in the early 1900's (1919 to be exact) in Boston,Mass. On the surface, a flood of molasses may sound humorous, but for the 150 people injured & 21 killed & their families, I'm sure it was no laughing matter.
