It made breaking NFL news today that Earl Thomas, safety for the Baltimore Ravens might be out of Baltimore. During practice, Early Thomas got in a fight with another safety on the team, Chuck Clark. The coach, John Harbaugh, stated that he understands that fights will break out during training. It's natural for tempers to flare. However, what he does not expect is for that fight to continue past the field. We're not sure what is going to be done yet nor what instigated the fight but it's clear that the team is considering letting Thomas go. *picture from google

Maybe a suspension instead of released?

No he was released. When this happened the Ravens were only considering the two options

I hadn't heard about this. It would be big if they let him go.

It’s one thing to get in a fight during a game, but in a fight with your own teammate during practice is a bit extreme.

It depends on what happened. They haven't said what started the fight in the first place. Tempers flare during practice
