Fire Rising from Donna Grant's Dark King's Coloring Book

I wanted to do something different last night so I thought since I was reading the book Fire Rising by Donna Grant that I would look and see if I had a copy of the picture from her coloring book. Behold, I did have it. So in the spirit of Fire Rising, I decided to color it. This is Tristan's book and he's an amber dragon. I liked how it turned out until I got to the dragon. I don't have an amber colored pencil so I was trying to get ideas on how to substitute the color but still being as close as I could. No blending for me. I'm done with trying to blend colors. I may still try fading or gradation but actual blending is now off the table for me. I don't like how the dragon turned out. I'm sorry, poor Tristan.
