Well That Was Rude

A few years back I had an incident that made me quite angry. I was working as a waitress and had some really good friends there working with me, so I thought we were friends. I was leaving to go home after my shift and left out the front door. When I got to my car, I realized I forgot my phone inside and turned to go back in to get it. I opened the door and there they were, talking crap behind my back, saying some really nasty things. They didn't see me come back in and had no idea I was standing there listening to everything they were saying. So I calmly said, "Wow you guys, now tell me how you really feel". You can imagine the look of horror on their faces when they knew they were caught. I continued to work at that same restaurant for about 6 more months but never talked to them again, only when it came to my job that I would speak to them. Have you guys ever had something like that happen to you?

Those nasty beasts!!!! I don't blame you for never talking to them again. They were most likely jealous, because that's what jealous people do. I've never overheard things about me, but have seen some things written about me on here. I'm no fool and promptly deleted those fools. In my real life, I have true friends and will not be friends with anyone I do not like or trust. As my family says, I'm full in the friends department.

Oh, I'm sorry about that, you being targeted on here. Nobody deserves that especially somebody as nice as you. Keep your chin up and just be YOU... :o)

@djbrat13 Thank you so much. I will continue to hold my head high, avoid those nasty people, and enjoy my time on here with my friends. I do love it here, and no one's words will chase me away.

I rather be alone. If having friends that talk crap about me, i'd rather not have any friends.

You are braver than I am...I might have just quit on the spot. I did have a co worker that talked to me really nicely in front of other people and was very ugly in private. I never met someone so two faced in my life. I should have asked her, what I ever did to her?

@djbrat13 I don't know why people have to be so ugly?

I know, I just don't get it. You have a friendship with someone and think you know them and then they totally turn around and stab you in the back. I'm sorry but I don't need "Friends" like that, I rather just be a loner if that's what friends are about.

@snowy22315 I know, I do let it get to me more times than others, but I just need to take a step back and try to look at it differently.
