Local Vlogger/YouTuber Buknoy Glamurrr received backlash on social media on his video post walking in the streets without following city ordinance amidst the covid-19 crisis. Cases of the corona virus in the Philippines are staggering and the government issued a health policy under the “Bayanihan Heal as One Act” to wear mask and or face shield when going to public places. Violators may be charge to pay a fine or if caught three times not wearing shall be put to a 10 day detention. Glamurrr later then posted an apology video but netizen did not take it well all because he claimed he did not "violate" anything. What are your thoughts? He did it intentionally so that he could be given attention for his vlog. That's his modus operandi.

@StyleWithSense You're welcome. That's one of the techniques to gain many viewers.

@Nakitakona True unfortunately... it's dirty tactics though and I prefer watching other contents which is substantial. Have a great day!

That's what i heard, I mean most YouTuber's nowadays uses this shock value and not even give two cents on people's safety just to gain that monetization. It's really disgusting to be honest. Thanks for your response!

I have not seen the video yet but if he violates the law, then he should be held responsible for this

It's all over local YouTube, he has been in hot seat lately for doing some outrageous stunts such as his first backlash where he belittle a tricycle "tuktok" driver while sipping Starbucks Frappe in front of the guy. He should admit his wrong and held accountable. Sadly, his local barangay sided him all because he is a celebrity. Thanks for your response.

I think he should have simply admitted the violation & clarified he did not do it intentionally.

The backlash started because the viral video was him wandering the streets at the wee hours drunk and not wearing a mask and his so called apology video did justified that he is wrong though he made mention that he did not violate anything. He should own to his mistake. Thanks for the response!

If he intentionally violates then, charges will be on him. It's all about the safety concern in order to minimize the case, posting apology video may not help.

What triggers the netizens on this backlash is that he went wandering the streets at the wee hours being drunk and on film while not wearing a mask and his apology just justifies that he did violate something... Don't even know if you call it an apology when in fact he denied that he did something wrong. #smh. Thanks for your response!

He should! Apparently he got away with the local government because he is famous. You know how politics runs in the Philippines. #SadReality. Thanks for your response!

Does the photo show a male person? I'm in favour of fines for silly people who do not follow the instructions concerning the Corona virus.

Yeah silly it is! Considering people are very cautious these days... I hope he did own up to his mistake and not made a lousy so called apology video which he said he did not violate anything. Yes, it's a Male person he actually cross-dresses. Thanks for your response.
