The Insensitive Neighbor

I’m not the type of person to rant and just mind my own business but with this health crisis going on with the world, it’s hard not to be alarmed when people don’t take caution with the actions they are doing most especially in a private neighborhood…
Long story short, my neighbor had the nerve to throw a party at their house. They were loud, drinking and had a lot of visitors who came by. Of course they have all the right to do so because that’s their private space but they should be more considerate and not just plain insensitive with regards to their neighbors. It wasn’t just my family that they disturbed but more so the whole street...
We have senior citizens living in the community as well as kids literally toddlers! They should be more sensitive with their decisions considering the number of Covid-19 cases reported every day. Now is really not the right time to throw a “beer-pong”. Shook my head. Have you experienced these kind of neighbors?
Side note, I already contacted the HOA and the security guards who is stationed today at our neighborhood’s main gate. We’ll see how they will go about it.

People can be very insensitive and do not care and do not think of others.

Sad reality
They could have at least informed the whole street or for much safety go elsewhere and throw a party on the woods. They just wrapped up their party an hour ago. I hope the HOA will take actions on it. Thanks for your response.

People do not care. They could have stopped it earlier and respected others, but, they just do not care.

@Hannihar I know really such a no-go. We could not do anything considering they done that at their house if we barge in that would be trespassing and it's quite scary going out these days... Thanks for your concern. All is taken care of now.

There are people who own property across the street, they don't even live there, who will throw some loud parties in the summer. It is annoying.

Sure does creates loud noises and it's really untimely to do such social gathering when in fact city ordinance is telling everyone to practice social distance.. shook my head. All is well now though, they just ended the party hours ago. Thanks for your response.
