Repurpose An Old Bowling Ball

I love to bowl and that means that I have a few old bowling balls lying around the house. I can't really use them to bowl anymore but don't want to throw them away or give them away, there are too many memories. So I figured out a way to keep them without cluttering up the house. I use them in my front yard. Let me explain. I spray paint and decorate them to resemble insects, animals, etc... I make them into ladybugs, frogs, squirrels and anything else I can think of and place them around my yard to give it a homey look. I'm not really an artist so for the trickier ones I ask my 18 yr. old son to help ( which is amazing when it comes to art ). I do get a lot of compliments from neighbors and people passing by, which makes me feel good. And I get to keep my precious old bowling balls.
