When I had my gout first time I was told not to eat foods that has huge purine, or liver meat, beans, nuts. Sadly, I didn't stop drinking sodas. Now, with this I can't even eat pasta, pizza and even a hamburger. my taste bugs are missing it. Not even noodles, but at least i still ge to eat some breads and crackers. But then two weeks of soft foods have some how made me feel better and I no longer feel constipated too.

Sometimes we have to change our diets as we age. At least you are feeling better. That's all that counts.

I think you really need to refrain from food that can increase your uric acid.
