Indolence has come upon me, perhaps the result of the tiring work of the previous days. The feeling was made more drab when I heard an arrogant Catholic criticize Pope Francis for his support of an Argentinian nun housing transgenders for protection. Sigh, were we not told by our Lord Jesus not to judge? Besides, it's in the Beattitudes, which makes it a dogma of the Catholic Church - "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven." As Pope Francis puts it - 'Who am I to judge?' Yes, we cannot question what our Lord has spoken.
For those who lambast the Papacy as cause of divisiveness, watch out, for it was also written "So the last shall be first, and the first last." You and I could be 'dogmatic' but unless we have Mercy in our hearts, we could be headed to eternal damnation.
Nope, do not be bothered by the Catholic Church being rocked by the confusion of the times, the gates of hell, as our Lord told Peter, has no power over it.
My thoughts were affirmed by the veneration of the image of the sleeping St. Joseph after a virtual Mass. Oh, I have lots to say about the virtuous Man who became the Spouse of the Virgin Mary and the Foster Father of our Lord. But for now, suffice it to say that he has removed the sloth by me forgetting the tap running and the water has flooded my kitchen. Wow.
