A Different Technique

Many quilting instructors were offering free tutorials during the worst of Covid 19 lockdown.
One instructor in Germany, Claudia Pfiel offered a quilt lesson that intrigued me.
She suggested colours and had us cut squares...stack them and cut again....then shuffle and sew.
Each step added a new twist. Now I'm ready to tackle the quilting, but keep hesitating. I know what I want to do, but I'm nervous about starting.
I don't think I would use this technique often, but still it was an interesting process and I quite like the end result.

This reminds me of quilts on people's walks that have a picture on them. This almost looks like a tree.
How are you doing Morley? I hope that you haven't left the sit too or maybe only temporarily?

I've been keeping busy (imagine) maybe a post about how I've kept myself out of trouble would give other Mylotters some infor about where I'm at.

It does give that illusion. If my quilting complements the project it will make a wonderful piece of wall art four our guest bedroom.
