I have just completed my works at shop and as always looking forward to having morning breakfast. It is about 9 in the morning here and I am here since seven in the morning. I used to have morning tea before but now a days I have left taking it and have it only once with the breakfast, So feeling very hungry now.
There is no sign of rain here although weather is still comparatively cooler at 27 degrees centigrade. Hope this monsoon revives soon as the rains in these 2 months help store water for public water supply. Excess rains in earlier months does not help it.

What do you normally have for breakfast in India? I am very interested in other cultures, particularly cultural differences in food and beverages. Sometimes the differences are astounding!

India is a vast country. Every region has got its own food habits. In our southern region it is mostly Idli sambhar or masala dosa, the dishes made out of ground rice and fermented. In our part it is Bhaji Pav or vegetable curry with bread or chapati. In northern part it is chapati or parantha, local wheat breads with some vegetable curry.

@Angels123 That is so nice of you to understand others' culture. Are you American or as name suggests a Russian? I am from Goa India and we have got a peculiar cuisine in Indian style. Coconut, which is found in abundance in our area is main ingredient in our curries.

@msdivkar Thanks for your reply! I love curry! A friend gave me some curry soup made with coconut milk, peanuts and a lot of other ingredients. She served it with Naan bread. It was delicious and very filling. I've also had some good veget -arian steak in ethnic restaurants. Your country sounds similar to ours, in that different regions favor different foods. I'll try most foods for the variety of it!

It rained minutes ago but it didn't last. I'm hoping it will pour again. I love rainy evenings. It has been sunny the entire day here.
