This question has a white and grey area because both living situations has it's advantages. Yes you are right, living in the City is much more fast phased also economical when it comes to running errands or going to places such as clinics or the nearest shopping center but the downside of living in such is that it's cost of living not to mention the pollution a city contains. Village or countryside is also has it's advantage mainly because fresh produce and other natural stuffs are readily available there. It also is fresh from pollution but the downside of it is that it's really far and you can't just navigate one place to the other. Thanks for your post!

Welcome to Mylot. I prefer to live in the village than in the City. I find it healthier to live there which I can make sure that my food I ate is fresh and with a refreshing environment.

Life in a city is busy and noisy. It might mean a short distance to work every day. This would lead to no money spent on transport. I loved living in a village from 1991 until 2005. It was so wonderful to walk across the countryside at the end of Union Road. It had a limited number of shops. Therefore to get affordable food I had to cycle on my bike into Canterbury. It was often challenging to get to my place of work. For one job I needed to cycle to the train station and take two trains. For another job I had to cycle 12 miles a day.

@Shanndy I have been a city person most of my life. I am not sure I could ever live in a village or small town because people would know your business. If one is private they would not want others to know things about them.

I think its best if you experience both, like in a year there is time you will live in the city and the half of the year is that you will spend your vacation in a village.

I enjoy living in the suburbs far enough away from a city to have fresh air and plenty of space, but close enough to a city for all its benefits.

I prefer city life. I like convenience & accessibility to supermarkets, hospitals, pharmacies, public transportation, etc.
