Brazo de Mercedes Or Tiramisu Cake?

My mother is going to celebrate her birthday on September 10. Then my my husband and I and my sister asking to each other the same question what to prepare. I'd like to bake the Brazo de Mercedes but my sister told me she is not fond of that that's why she suggest to have the Tiramisu Cake.
Have you tasted both flavor of this dessert? What do you think you prefer? By the way our mother doesn't know we're gonna buy cake for her. Haha..Photo from Google.

yes it looks like sponge but its pure egg white only and the filling is egg yolk

@Overflowing I see. I have read that it is a Filipino cake. I think I will try to make that when I have time to do it.

We call this Btazo de Reina and I love it. Tiranisu was awesome at first but lately I have had it too many times.

thanks ma friend, i think tiramisu has a little bit touch of liquor same as black forest cake
