Study time

So as the morning draws closer to the time that I will need to open the books (after a coffee of course), I sit and think of how my life has brought me to this point. I have gone from a paramedic zooming around in an ambulance, to running into burning buildings as a firefighter. I then left home and needed some intermediate jobs while I attempted to get back into the fire service. I've worked in international airports pushing trollies, I've worked on bin trucks and in a medical triage call centre. Before deciding to pick up the books again and study something new. I have now decided if I do not get back into the fire service I will continue to study and get the qualifications I need to go into arson/fire investigation. How many have you have gone through a major career change or decided to study something new a few years after leaving school?
