Day 34 Promise 492 Luke 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9 But he who denies me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. Have you testified in a court of law? You needed to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. What happened if you didn’t tell the truth? Fines and time in jail and no one would believe anything you said ever again. Jesus said that anyone who confessed Him before men, He would confess before God’s angels and those who didn’t, He would deny before God’s angels. As Christians, you know the seriousness of acknowledging Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord to those you encounter daily. You can’t act like a Christian in front of your Christian friends and act as though you don’t know Him in front of everyone else. If you can’t show yourself as a Christian to everyone, Jesus will deny He ever knew you. Matthew 7:21 Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye who work iniquity. You either are a Christian or you aren’t. Only Jesus knows your heart and He will be your judge. Let’s pray: Father, help me show You to the world. Let me never waver in my confession of You.
