Practicing the letter A

Today my little guy had to practice the letter A. He hates writing probably because it seems very complicated to a 5 year old. He had the letter H in his name down. We are trying for the second letter in his name A. Then I got his tracer book out because he was wanting me to take hold of his hand and do it. We will try practicing some more tomorrow.

Writing complicated for a 5 year old....here kids start writing at 3. By 5 years they are able to write three letter words.

He didn’t have preschool where they teach these fundamentals of holding and writing

Yes I know that part. It would be easier if he had physical school because they practice most of these skills al day long.
