In Autumn along with roses turning blackish red, leaves also turn brownish

September 10, 2020 9:03pm CST
Autumn is a good season for roses. In my flat, I grow the roses in potted plants in balcony. Due to less sunlight at this time, the colour of the roses turn blackish red. At the same time the leaves turn brownish. It is wonder of nature.

I'm amazed that your roses do so well in a pot! Are you a professor?

Yes Dianne, in Kolkata we live in Flats in 1st floor, so I can only plant my rose plants in pots.

@sathviksouvik My husband was a professional, too!!! At our condo in Florida, we are not allowed to plant anything on the property, but can have plants in our lanai. We are on the third floor.

We do not have many flowering plants. A few do well but some do not grow that well in pots.

@sathviksouvik Yes I totally agree. So do you have any plants that give good flowers in winters?
