I had long working days since Friday and today as soon as I was done with lunch I could not stop yawningWell, my body badly wanted a rest and revolted against doing anythingSo I just lied down on bed for a short nap. But now when I wake it has been almost three hours since I went to bed. They say anything more than an hour is not considered a nap. It's rather a sleepSo I slept for three hours in day today and that's the perfect thing to do on a lazy Sunday.. Glad I have not much to do today. Or rather I have not kept much on list to do. Just want to relax. I totally deserve it. I have pushed chores to Wednesday and will do only the minimum needed. If you feel that it might derail my sleeping time in the night, let me assure you it will not. Even husband thought that I might not get any sleep in night. But I still feel that I will go at my usual time. Seems like my body still needs some more of it So to keep me awake for some more hours till I hit my pillow for good night, I want to do things that would interest me and not make me feel tired and sleepy. So mylotting tops the listand maybe some art work if my mood says so. I am making my mood in charge for the dayI need myself and my energy to be rejuvenated for a long working week ahead Enjoying my ginger tea with some light home made snacks and mylotting I will answer all the notifications first . They have piled up as I was not much here since last two days. Hope all well in your corner

Yes and I would hit the pillow early at 9 instead of 10. I need to wake up at sharp 5 tomorrow to get ready in time for work. I do not like it when I miss my yoga or I have to shorten my exercise time in rush.

I would like to finish them as much as I can. They are in 3 digits and that becomes overwhelming. I do not want them to pile up more. In between I will respond to recent discussions too.

Yes it is the best way to enjoy a Sunday. The other days can be hectic so one needs to have this day to relax. As for sleep, whenever my family members say that they are bored and tired, I recommend sleep. They now say "You always suggest sleep". And I say " I would take a nap or sleep in a situation similar to yours " !!

@arunima25 And I am very happy with getting good sleep myself and "liberal" with others getting good sleep. Anyways I know that unless some magic happens, nobody can become like a Kumbhakarna when sleeping.

@arunima25 Ha ha we need to have some such people around. One of my Mamajis(maternal uncle) can also sleep so soundly even in heat and noise that my aunt (her wife)always tells- nobody can sleep like him!

That's the best solution and a wise one! When bored, let's take time to heal your body and soul. And sleep is the only way to do it.. I missed my Friday and Saturday afternoon nap and I was really exhausted by two long days at work.

I too had more than normal nap today. I slept almost an hour today after a good lunch. My knee was paining a bit and thought of giving it some rest after applying some ointment. My usual afternoon nap is just 15 to 20 minutes. Feeling fully relaxed after the sleep as per your definition although knee is still paining.

@arunima25 Yes today's nap was the demand of the body and I really felt better after having it.

Sometimes our body demands it as it needs it. Good that you took a rest for your knees. I too take a nap of 20-40 minutes on regular days. But on Friday and Saturday I missed them. I worked non stop from 7 to 5 online on both days. It was PTM and I was fully exhausted.

Yes. I could do that as there was nothing much in my head. I had all plans to relax and rest today. My body demanded it.
