Covid-19 is still a burden for us. We do not know when the pandemi will be finish. Until now, there is no drug can cure the disease effectively. Then, until UK scientists announced their finding the promising of dexamethasone for covid-19.
Dexamethasone is steroid drug, that can help you to relieve inflammation condition. It is a common and cheap drug that doctor uses to treat many conditions.
Dexamethasone for covid-19 is still under investigation; it was suggested the action is to overcome cytokine syndrome, the severe state of covid-19.
Based on that, dexamethasone cannot be used for prevention or treating mild disease. This drug also has many side effects that cause harm if used inappropiately.
