Frugal Shopping: Smoked Salmon at Midnight.

I couldn't sleep last night. Which isn't uncommon. The only difference last night was that I had fifty plus dollars in my Amazon gift card account from surveys. So I decided to go look at my recently viewed stuff to see if there was anything that I thought I should order. There was. The other half and I have been talking about smoked salmon for a couple of days. So I decided to see if I could get a good deal on Amazon. I found an 8 oz package of it. In the awesome wooden boxes with the Alaskan Native American fish on the outside, that I remember from when I was little. The Prime Price was $12.30, which isn't really a frugal purchase. But there was an instant coupon that Amazon automatically applied, I don't know if it was from Amazon or one of the Chrome Add-ons that I have for the coupon sites and rebate sites I have. Whatever it was, it saved me $4.92. On top of that I signed up for subscribe and save which saved me $0.62 cents. So I spent $6.76 on eight ounces of smoked salmon. Which is a good enough deal for me. I doubt I'll stick with the subscribe and save. But maybe, since I set it for every two months. I also made two other Amazon purchases in the late night/wee hours. I'll post about those later. They were pretty frugal as well.
