Dear God,

Have you seen the questions to God children has written? Very amusing.
One wonders how the children, in their innocence, could have been imagining things we often take for granted.
Norma wrote - Dear God, Did you mean for giraffe to look like that or was it an accident?
Choriene queried an Aquinian line - How did you know you were God? An intellectual genius in the making....
Lucy quipped - Are you really invisible or is that just a trick?
I wish my parents did record the questions I asked as a child, for later on in life, I knew I wanted to learn more and more about God. But of course, my parents were salaried, and left the rearing of us children to my beloved grandmother. She catechized us intensively with good old tales from the Old Testament which we thought funny. Satisfied our curiosity, I suppose, for we believed.
Dear God, I have questions to ask, too, but You are busy tending to the least, the lost and the last. I will wait for that time when I get to meet You. In the meantime, You are in my heart.

Yes, they do.
And the Bible tells that it is 'in the fullness of one's heart that one speaks,' so these little children's hearts must be bursting for understanding.
I love children.

@eileenleyva And God loves the children. He wants us to be like that dependent on Him

@rakski True.
I think I am also like a child when I communicate with God. I am just overly dependent on Him.

God is actually a perception.. And each one perceives Him differently. As long as we feel connected to him, that's what matters. Those are really some innocent questions but have such deep thoughts in them.

In the image and likeness of our God we were created. God is the Supreme Being and he resides in our intellect, and in our hearts. That is why we perceive Him. Perhaps differently because of cultures that vary from land to land, but eventually the beliefs do connect in one simple truth - there is a God who loves us.
Children are so simple they say the sweetest things.

Absolutely.
I was once a preschool teacher, too, and my pupils did offer me their snacks.
One would always say 'Teacher Eileen, I will eat the white of the egg and you eat the yellow.'
Another would offer a food keeper of porridge and say 'Teacher Eileen, you can eat this. I already ate mine this morning.'

Yes children being innocent ask all kinds of questions to their parents and elders. Even God can't escape their questions.

That is so cool - 'Even God can't escape their questions.' Ha ha ha
But God listens to their prayers and answers in marvelous ways.

@jayanth_77 That is also why I am mortified by all the unfortunate children hungry and miserable. I do pray for their little lives. Hu hu

The post is about the children's questions to God, not where is God. Perhaps you misunderstand.
But of course, God is everywhere and He listens.

Ask the Pope what?
An unkind accusation you made there, you know not the Pope.
