Crocheted Purse...

I finished this last night as I watch television. The only thing left to do was the strap. I thought about doing the handles in the same way I had done the other bag, but I figured I would hardly ever use the bag if I made the handles in that way.
This is just three rows of single crochet that I then attached to the sides of the purse. I'm not entirely confident that it's secure, but I did tug on it and it doesn't seem to be giving. I didn't leave myself enough tail on one side, but I think I managed to knot it up enough.
If I were to do a close up picture you'd see a few imperfections with my weaving, but I'm not too bothered by it.
I know a few of you have been wanting to see this and so here it is. I used Lion Brand Mandala in the Groot colorway.

The colors are pretty. Imperfections is what makes this unique
but you’ll get better with more practice.

The grey is a little shinier then this, but the picture doesn't quite show it. I love it and will probably switch to using this for awhile.

@ScribbledAdNauseum it’s beautiful :) I don’t know how to crochet but don’t think I’d have the patience to learn or do it either

@infatuatedbby Once you get the hang of a few stitches then you are good to go, but it's all about getting used to holding the yarn which can take a bit.

Very nice. Those imperfections will get better the more you crochet

@Tina30219 I hope so. I keep finding more and more things I want to crochet.

True. What I really need to work on is my weaving in. I also need to get a bigger set of yarn needles and better scissors.

I love the colors. On the opposite side of the purse is a little splash of that darker burgundy color as if they made a mistake when dyeing this lot.

Thank You. I was thinking I wanted to get a couple more of this color and make my friends their own bags.

I love it. I think it's the perfect size too. Not too big or too small.

I crocheted this purse. I only weaved the straps into the bag.
I think it took me about three or four days. I'd work on it an hour at a time. I used the half double crochet stitch for most of the bag.

@rhuenz You get into a rhythm and it works up quickly. Doing just one stitch throughout most of it helps it go along faster too.
