It is done!
Went back to Staples today. The lady I spoke to last time explained that there was a new guy waiting on me last time, so he evidently hadn't done what he was supposed to have done.
Today the expert guy was there, and he did whatever he did and I watched on the store computer as all my files went from one place to the other. 
So very glad that my files are now where they are supposed to be !
