Well, almost two months back, our TV developed some problem. Some lines started coming on the TV and the display weakened. But due to Covid and other reasons, I did not call in any technician for repairs. I did try resetting the DTH set top box, tried adjusting wires, dusted the things but to no avail. Yet now when different folks tried a few things, it has started working. The mystery of what caused the problem still remains. Anyways the final result is that the TV is up and running again..........

Oh! You were without TV for two months and that too in this pandemic situation. Good that it's back to functioning and at right time. You could catch up with your IPL matches

@arunima25 Yes it is working now. However, now our DTH remote is out of order !! Surprisingly, I have got one for our DTH operator on Amazon!! I feel so amazed to find so many things on Amazon. They have put in terrific money power and have formed alliance with a huge number of shopkeepers.

@arunima25 Yes but as a matter of fact, Jeff Bezos has poured in a lot of money in India. So far Flipkart which is under Walmart has not been able to compete that much, though they have captured the Fashion domain quite well. Now Reliance is expanding with JioMart and other initiatives but they have a tough fight, as Amazon has been fighting the war with big losses. Jeff Bezos and his team would however have a tougher time going forward when they would need to get into operational profits mode. Well (I think it was a Jeffrey Archer Novel, or something similarly worded) "Only Time will tell".

The most important is that it got fixed just when the IPL started. You can see those tiny balls flying into the stands now.

@CarolDM Yes now I can watch many shows which I was missing earlier. I used to try watching quite a few on YouTube but we cannot get everything there.
