I am too much puzzled about mirrors, When i was in manila,i stayed in a lodging house, there's a big mirror infront of the sitting area, and that mirrors made me so ugly haha, but the mirror on the second floor is good. Even i have a small handy mirror,i am good on that and also some of my fellow on the LH like borrowing it. There's also a mirror that will make you fat. I am wondering what is the story or explanation behind it. Any ideas mylotters? Any experiences in the mirror? Photo:google

There are mirrors that make you look a certain way. There is a slimming mirror too.

Quality of the mirror. If it's cheap, it will definitely distort your face when you are a bit from far the mirror because it's only good when you get closer. Hand mirrors are small and when we use it we get close to it, so even if it's cheap the distortion couldn't be seen.

Hii there, it's based on the laws of physics. I remember reading them in optics. Curvature is a factor there. Some are intentionally made more curved (concave) to make you look thinner and the one you looked through is probably plain/horizontal
