An Important Birthday

Have you ever met someone who thought their birthday should be considered a national holiday? Well, that is how my oldest daughter thinks. She thinks the whole month of October belongs to her. She will turn 30 in a few days. I adore this child. God blessed us with four amazing children. My oldest is one of the most loving forgiving people I know. She loves to spread joy and encouragement to others. With her 30th birthday coming up, my second daughter decided to take a special photo shoot for her. The pictures are funny and beautiful and a bit creepy. They have a creepy theme because my oldest loves Halloween and her birthday is in October. They are funny because it shows the dramatic side of her personality. They are beautiful because my girl is beautiful. I am thankful that God chose me to be her mommy. Her dad and I are proud parents.

In some ways, she is still a kid. I think that innocence and fun personality is what makes her so successful at relationships and ministry.

I've never understood adults doing some big photoshoot for their birthday. Just not my thing. But these pics did come out good.

lol. Our family does everything big. We celebrate for everything. When someone is mourning, we are all there together. I have 4 grown kids and I still have parties for all of them. And we photograph every moment and are often dramatic with it. It is just who we are.

@gnatsmom I mean I take a lot of pictures I get that.
I take a lot of pictures.
A LOT.
I've uploaded like 15,000 to facebook since January. And that doesn't count the others Ive taken. So I get capturing moments.
Buuuut, I dont make a fuss about my birthday. I make big deals about the kids and the other half and the dogs.
We're getting married this month. I spent $35 on my dress. We got silicone rings, and we're not making a big deal. I don't get the big deals made about one day. Its just not my thing.
