How many of mylotters have tasted or mixed this banana flower in recipe? When i am still with my parents,my mother used to cooked with fried fish with coconut milk and hot pepper.Aside from tastiness,do you know that; Banana flower is an alkaline food which effectively neutralizes the stomach acid secretions and offers respite from indigestion, ulcers and pain. Apart from this, high on dietary fibre and other vital nutrients banana flowers work as a natural laxative and regularise bowel functions and treat constipation. Photo:google

We do eat banana flower. We mix it in our food when we cook it but we're not aware of its benefits
