The company I get my phone from, Assurance Wireless (a phone company for those of us on a low income) I think is supposed to send me a new phone every year. Unfortunately, I usually wind up breaking or losing my phone before the year is out (just recently it was "losing" it), so I have to pay $25.00 US to replace it. Other than that, I get free minutes and texts. So anyway, after I got my most recent replacement phone, I had to charge the battery for 24 hours or something like that, and then I could start setting it up. I put a few of my usual contact phone numbers on it so far. I have to look at the instruction book that came with it, as I have the feeling that I'm supposed to call the company (Assurance Wireless) that sent me the phone to register it or some such thing. Before setting up my phone, I walked Angel, came back and cut the 12 gallon Rubbermaid can's worth of the "jungle" in the backyard, dumped it in the green can that will be picked up on Tuesday, came in and washed the dishes in the sink...and then. as I indicated, messed with my phone. Right now my computer clock says 12:33, and I should go find some lunch, walk Angel, and do Bible Study. Hope your day/evening/etc. is going well in your part of myLot land !

No phone new or old any brand dose not need to charge for 24hrs not even close it reduces the battery life.
