Old sewing table with a cause

This is actually a sewing machine table used by grandma when she was still alive. Originally a sewing machine was placed on top of it and the table is as is .Since my grandma died a long time ago and we live in a anceztral house what we did was to keep the old furnitures and stuff and placed it in our storage room. Now that we are having a little renovation to cut on some expenses to buy some furnitures we made the sewing table as one of the furniture and as a table in the sofa area.Since we cant use the sewing machine anymore we removed it and made a table fit for the remaining sewing table stand .And here it worked.It looked like a table now with a unique design.It is placed in our living room under the television .Do some of you recycle or reuse stuff at home and make it into another furniture?

@Janet357 Ours is broken already .I remember grandma using it when I was still young . And since the machine itself is broken we just innovate the table because we can still use it.

what did you do with the machine itself? sell it to the junkshop?

@hereandthere We just placed it in our storage room because its broken already .My uncle would think of something where we can use it .

I do not have the item to recycle, We handled our sewing machine to my aunt a couple of years back but in the end, we have those portable ones.
