Miss Them

One of the things that will make this month painful is missing my parents. My dad passed away two years ago and my mom is in assisted living and we haven't been allowed to see her since March. It kinda feels like she is dead too.
My dad use to love helping us plan our holidays. He and my mom were great cooks. My dad used to help me teach my students and plan fun days for them. It is hard to move forward without him sometimes, but he left a wonderful legacy for us.
Has anyone ever made such a powerful impact in your life that just thinking of them brings back a flood of emotions and their impact encourages you to press on?

I understand your feelings. In leaving parents alone is not a good thing, live together it gives more happiness my friend.

I agree. If it were up to me, my mother would be near me with around the clock private care.
