The blackish red roses are looking brighter in autumn.

In Kolkata the monsoons are retreating. In Autumn the blackish red roses in the potted plants in my balcony are looking more brighter. In the monsoon they were blackish but in the autumn the reddish petals are appearing. They have good fragrance also.

That's a pretty bloom. And I am sure with sweet smell as you mentioned. Off late I have been sharing pictures from my garden here and many have different varieties of roses and hibiscus that I have.

Thanks Arunimaji I am very jealous about your hibiscus. While I suceeded in the potted plants in my balcony relating to roses, I was not that successful with hibiscus which in bengali we call jaba.
