Large turkey problem

Turkey farmers in the UK are facing an unusual difficulty this year. This is because measures to combat Covid 19 include a requirement not to allow more than six people to gather indoors at the same time. It is expected that this will apply at least until the end of the year.
So, if you were planning to invite the extended family to join you for Christmas dinner, you will have to change your plans. You will also, therefore, not need to order anything like as large a turkey as you might have contemplated. A turkey for six, in other words, instead of sixteen!
So if you are a turkey farmer, assiduously getting your stock ready for the Christmas market, you are going to find that big birds are going to be far less saleable than much smaller ones. So what do you do? Tell your birds not to overeat?

Every time I think of something that might work as a solution, I realize that no... that it won't work. I think that I've gone through about half a dozen ways and not one would help the turkey farmer. Is there anyone or anything that this pandemic hasn't touched??
