On this night I felt like a volcano. Why? I have been holding a few things inside without saying them, and when I was asked what's going on with me? I let it all out making an eruption as If I indeed was one. I know some of you know me because I am always cheering people up, but not tonight guys. I don't know if you're currently going through this, I hope you aren't. I am feeling a bit frustrated over here, in my position, it is so important to get a job these days, but unfortunately that hasn't happened to me despite all the effort I have put to find one. I am aware that Covid-19 sort of swept off jobs, businesses, and more. Nevertheless where I live, the city has been disconfined for the past four weeks, and job vacancies were available online, despite that I apply no word back. I am not grabbing here my knowledge, but I am certainly a good employee when I get a job. I take my role seriously, but being not called makes me feel like I am not worth it. I am sorry guys it is just my frustration speaking for me now, but I just need to Express myself freely, which I don't really do on my social media. People here seem to be mor understanding. Thanks for reading, I really appreciate it.

What happened to the job you had before the COVID? What exactly is your job?

I worked as help desk in a hotel. After the Covid-19 outbreak spreaded, they shut down because there was no reservations. I phoned the manager who I was a little closed to, and she said they'd call me once they're open again. I was happy to hear about it, however I really need to get a job now because there are certain stuff I gotta pay, and some pending bills among others. I have been applying to jobs vacancies online, jobs that require experience that I do have, but they don't call me back.

@jvicentevalera All jobs that have to do with tourism are closed dowm and we cannot even go from one place to the other in our own country.I have seen many people from Venezuela working in Uber annd now in cornershop. It is hard foor everyone but worse for the immigrants

I feel for you and understand your frustration and helplessness. Keep being persistent. I would make a nuisance of myself by calling the companies and even showing up in person. Wishing the best for you.

I'm so sorry for all that is messed up for you. But life is all about trying and you need to keep doing that. Giving up is just not the way. Failures are inevitable and you might keep trying and one day God will make it your day. It is ok to burst out...no harm at all in this. But tye most important thing is that you recollect yourself after being shattered with double energy and strength

What kind of job do you want to do? What would be your first choice. Then what other jobs would you be willing to do? Sometimes it's easier to get the job we want if he are already working. If I needed a job right now I would consider anything. And then take the first offer that came along. Any job, is better than no job.

Jim you are certainly right about considering anything at this point. Which is I am aiming for right now. I used to work as a customer service rep, help desk, bellman, etc. But unfortunately hotels are still shut down, and when I applied to CS rep, they don't call back, I do have experience but no clue why I am not fitting in. I'll keep on looking on this day. Thank you for your comment my Scottish friend!
