A call from Malacanang (Office of the President)

Wonder? Why am getting a call from the Office of the President at dinner time.
Just to inform me that I have not submitted my liquidation report for the 2019 Christmas gift given to the Barangay or barrio officials. That's quite disturbing because my liquidation report was submitted immediately after I disbursed the money. I sent it through the courier because the Office of the President is located thousand nautical miles away from my place.
Good thing I still have the text message of the courier company (LBC) informing me the name of the person who received the parcel. That was still last January 2020. The caller said they will verify this and hope to clear the matter.

Oh that is a serious allegation that you have failed to submit liquidation for that activity. Good thing that you have evidence that your liquidation did arrive and got a name who received it with you else it would be very difficult to explain that unless you made duplicate copies of it with you.

Am sure I have duplicate copies but they need the original copies. They admit that the one who received the parcel.is a staff of the records section. I forwarded to them the text message of LBC.

I have the duplicate copy and the transmittal letter plus the deposit slip of the undisbursed amount.
