I was waiting a long time / myLot

I'm due for a health appointmet. I made a phone call yesterday but they keep putting me on hold. I waited 15 minutes but nobody would answer my call. I had to hang up. This morning I called and was optimistic but the phone just keeps ringing. I'm starting to feel something isn't right and I need to make a decision on what to do. Have you ever tried to make a doctor's appointment and your call was ignored?

That’s good you are healthy. I was trying to make an appointment for a yearly checkup nothing serious.

@meowch Here in this small town I live in we don't have to take appointment to see the doctor.Without appointment we go to a doctor and they attend us.

I never try because here in my place no need to make appointment just visit a doctor anytime you want. Take care.

That is not acceptable. A quarter of an hour on hold for an appointment? That is very infuriating. People call because of a need, why a prolonged wait? That is so backwards. I do hope you were able to see the doctor by now.
