The water heater replacement process has begun. I’ll have a Go Fund Yourself account if you care to donate. As I said yesterday, it’s not that bad: less than two months’ rent, then good for another 10-15 years and no more rent. Let’s celebrate with another song from my list of songs with “baby” in the title! Back in Baby’s Arms - Patsy Cline All you poor country music haters just knew your luck would run out eventually, right..... But, hey, it’s Patsy Cline! Even people who swear they loathe anything remotely associated with country music like Patsy. Apparently this song was used in Natural Born Killers. I never saw it, so I’ll take their word for it. Back in “those days,” people would record whenever they were in town (union rules said a session was four songs or three hours). When they had enough “hits” they’d record “filler” material (usually cover versions of songs that were hits at the time) for an album. This song never got released in Patsy’s lifetime. It first saw the light of day on the 1963 memorial album The Patsy Cline Story. It’s been in movies and commercials (Mazda used the song for an ad) since. Back in Baby’s Arms Written by Bob Montgomery Recorded by Patsy Cline From The Patsy Cline Story, 1963 Don’t know why we quarreled:
From the 1963 album "The Patsy Cline Story" on MCA. Written by Bob Montgomery.

I'm a country music hater; but I LOVE Patsy Cline. We have to replace the water heater and possibly the furnace which are only 5 years old; so I feel your pain!

Ouch, just five years? That thing should still be under warranty!

@FourWalls The sump pump stopped working and both got flooded. Not covered by the warranty.

Good luck on your water heater issue. Patsy Cline was gone too soon.

Patsy, one of the few that make us all country music fans for a moment.
