Last Lily for 2020

Have been outside most of the day. Enjoying the sunshine. And doing a few projects here and there. Noticed one last day lily blooming. It will be gone soon. But will return in the spring. Saw a few more blue jays and cardinals as well. Refreshed the bird bath for them. Hope you all have a great day.

We are all enjoying the last days of summer and wondering how the winter will be. Having the season is the one thing I miss most about living here in Florida. I don't even know what month it is half of the time.

Its the month for the lasts isn't it? I have a pepper outside, mostly red, but still not ripe. I do not know if the warmth that we are expecting over the next few days will ripen it and it will be my last or not. Its amazing how quickly this time of the year creeps up on us. Your lily, perhaps the last of the year, is a pretty one with a bright sunny colour.

glad y'ave gotten to 'njoy yet 'nother purty day, hon. did the same here 'til the wasps got'n the move. one 'f God's creatures i've ne'er made friends with. lovely lily. i'm wonderin' if'n mine'll come back out next year. they tried, ne'er produced a flower 'n then wilted 'n went 'way. the drought'n winds too much i reckon. any hummers today? i 'twas out't dawn searchin' fer those here. alas, not a one came.

@CarolDM aw, congrats! 'tis warm here'n the day, but 'tis the shortened daylight hours that send 'em off to winterin' grounds. i wish such 'twas so here. a major challenge, lots 'f soil 'mendment required. 'n water...lets not ferget that 'mportant element.

Yes I have had two hummers today. 80 degrees tomorrow. Enjoying while I can. The lilies are very easy here to grow.
