David Attenborough's documentary on netflix entitled 'A Life on Planet Earth' is a highly recommended watch. Attenborough, all 93 years of him tells his journey around planet earth which started from the natural curiosity of a young boy. He loved the adventure of meeting people, some of whom indigenous, of encountering animals, some of which faced extinction, and simply watching the natural wonders, most of which has been dredged and destroyed by the most dangerous specimen - humans.
The documentary is upfront about a mass extinction that could happen in a hundred years. Attenborough offers solutions, but that will be the topic of another post. Just watch the documentary first.
Here's a reason to watch - even royal children are curious.
Prince William and Kate Middleton just given the public a rare chance to hear the children speak as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis spoke ...

@amitkokiladitya I mean spread the word, so others could take the problem to heart, and we could make the environment healthy again.

We are going through a tough crisis considering Nature. We are getting warning signs since a long time but ignoring it in what I call Human arrogance. We have started paying prices for that and it would only get worst in coming times if we don't wake up now.
Sounds like an interesting watch. I don't have Netflix.

Four times in the history of the planet, according to the documentary, has Earth suffered a severe climate change that caused mass extinction, the last of which claimed the lives of the dinosaurs. Considering the ice breaking and melting from the heat, and causing imbalance, it could be another mass extinction. It could be the end for humans.

I just discovered him yesterday. Yes, he is the lucky guy blessed to venture the world and record his observations and findings. Yet, he is the unlucky guy, too, to spell it out to us clearly a warning that we could be extinct by next generation.

Makes me feel mushy, for it is true, the fields and mountains of my youth have been obscured by skyscrapers. Wish to see the birds back in the air.
