Although the words "terrorist" and "freedom fighter" are subjective, terrorism is not. Dictionary.com gives a very appropriate definition of terrorism: The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons. A terrorist is not anyone fighting in self-defense and/or to protect his/her rights, especially in his or her homeland. I do not consider anyone killing or beating the daylights out of any invader seeking to plunder from or dictate to him/her in his/her homeland a terrorist. People naturally know that government is suppose to be their servant and not their master. And when government keeps imposing upon or attempts to impose upon people, people will eventually fight back. I believe it is about time that governments learn how to communicate to people in terms the people can understand and/or seek to persuade rather than try to impose upon people.

I think when people feel bullied, or insecure without hope they can commit horrible acts against their fellow human beings. That does not make it ok at all, but people should consider why these people are so very desperate that they would do such things.
