Great day for laundry.

I woke up at 7 am and the sun was already shining bright in the clear blue sky. It is 10 am and it is so hot it feels like the noon sun (straight on top of your head). I'm from Nairobi and most of us here hand-wash our clothes and sun-dry them on hanging lines. That said, I think I will drop everything I was going to do and make Friday, laundry day.

I do wash my clothes in washing machine except for the gentle ones that need hand wash. We also hang dry our clothes as our country gets enough sun. Dry cycle in machine is used only if it rains continuously for few days.

The new ones are easy and self explanatory. So don't worry.
Handwash is much better than machine wash. You get your muscles exercised and even your clothes last longer with all the care.

I wish I had a washer...just a washer, I don't need much. The sun will take care of the rest.
