Scented Candles

I am very fond of scented candles and wax. Those who know me well can attest that I get excited when I am gifted with scented candles. I like the clean scent kind, as well as some slight floral ones. I am not a big fan of the sugary sweet smelling ones.
Because of my scented candle "addiction", I make sure that I always practice safety precautions. For instance, I have a metal candle holder so the surface is protected from heat. I also have a flame-less and rechargeable candle lighter that I got Amazon; that way it is less footprint and trash than using disposable lighters, and it's safer. Whenever I light a candle, I also make it a point that it is placed where I can see it. I also trim the wick if it gets too high.
I also have electric wax melters. I got the kind that automatically shuts off after a set time. But like a candle, I do not leave plugged wax melters when I will be away.

We so times light candles but always in a place where me or my husband can see them. I don’t like the cleaning kind that smell like laundry it hurts my nose and eyes. I do like cinnamon ones which is what I get it peppermint some times a light sugar sent that isn’t very strongZ

@Raine38 that doesn’t bother me orange and citrus but there is a sent called clean or fresh and it reminds me of fabric softer it’s so strong it hurts

I love scented candles buy we have to make sure that we place them where it is safe.

I can tolerate fruit scents, but not the orange or lemon or lime kind. These remind me of cleaners and other cleaning solutions that we use. Sometimes the orangey ones remind me of car fresheners. I guess I am a picky scented candle user.

Scented candles must be divine. they are quite expensive though when I come across as a student. I believe now I can afford a few.
