Do you agree that spending lavishly on Marriages is a waste ?

People spends a fortune on decoration & food , which i feel is a waste & show-off. what do u feel?

YES, I think so too. To spend too much money on your own wedding isn't practical especially nowadays. I believe that it doesn't matter if you have a simple wedding ceremony, what matters most is that your marriage or relationship with your partner be a happy and successful one! Instead of spending a lot on your wedding day, I suggest that you just keep some of the money and save it for something someday. What do you think? ^^

marriage being a sacred institution and a spiritual bond has nothing to do with lavish preparations and expenditure.particularly what pinches me is how can people spend lakhs and lakhs of money for a one night show,when there is so much poverty all around.if people want to spend their fortune,then why not do it for a good cause?
