How do you treat your worker ???

October 14, 2020 3:13pm CST
We hired a cook aunty. She came the first day and then took two days off. On the fourth day she entered the house feeling very apologetic. She said Bhaiya , What to make I replied with a smile Daal, sabji, roti (Indian Food) Then she said Bhaiya sorry, My young child was ill. I replied "There is no problem. We understood that you would be stuck in a problem" And she was dumbstruck at the response, for she was expecting me to yell at her (probably ; like others would have). Ever since that day, she has been cooking extra delicious food for us. *Treat your workforce with respect, and you will get an awesome outcome in return*. Thoughts??

I agree to that. I have had very good maids during my lifetime because I respect them and they, in turn, respect me.

I don't know anyone with a maid or a servant, so I can't contribute anything.

I do the same. Be prepared for the worst. But expect (and hope for) the best.

Yes i agree with you when you treat others very gently, you'll be treated in the same way. I like the way you respect her otherwise as far as i know indian people are very bad at giving respect to workers.

It's not like Indian people There are good or bad people in every country but we need to decide how we want to be.

You have spiritually uplifted your cook. She's relieved and inspired. Good work.

Obviously you should treat them like respect given they are another human being. Probably more respect really given they could get a job elsewhere and leave you with no one to do your cooking.
