Each day, we encourage each other to be the best of who we are. For many of us, we've been here on mylot for over a decade. The newbies, I hope, are learning from us. A lingering thought had been nagging me a long time now which I hope you'd take time to answer as honestly as you can. Are you a better person today than yesterday?

That is quite a metaphor. Broken pieces, most often than not, are irreparable. So we throw these away. But wounded hearts mend. Could be scarred but when the heart is healed, it functions perfectly. Way to go!

Yes definitely I am improving as a person not on daily basis but over the time. I have started become conscious of bad habits in me and trying to improve on them.

That is very good. The important thing is we do recognize our short comings and do our best to extricate the ill habits from our beings. In saying that, yes, you are a better person today than yesterday.

Glad to hear that. What particular changes have you seen in your self that made you mature?

I will call it maturity on my part. I noticed changes on how I deal with people, their actions, as well as my reactions to things that are happening around. I think I am more reserve now on my opinion when and not to voice out with people.

You have mellowed, and matured. Yes, many times, we do find people acting as they are - filibustering other people's lives. Though we do not condone their actions, we learn to accept the frailties by turning the other cheek. Glad you have become a better person.

No, I am more grumpy everyday, it is due to the age and the citizenship. This said, I have never been a bad person, but it may change, I am thinking at it, I am tired to be considered like a naive 6 weeks old rabbit by some peoples.

Oh my! I think you need some sea breeze in our Surigao. When the pandemia is over, come to the islands for a refreshing experience with the locals preparing food for you. You will never ever want to turn bad. Grumpy is not in our vocabulary.

@eileenleyva I appreciated that you still know what had happened with my evil relatives. Being here is my outlet to deal with my personal life, which I cannot share it with my family.

That is an honest answer. Sometimes, when we meditate on the events of our day, we ask ourselves if we have done well according to our God's desires. Most often, we come short, or lacking, and tell ourselves "I could have done better." Yet, for all the imperfections we live today, we are a little better than yesterday. More understanding, more forgiving. A little kinder. A little better.
