My husband and I are watching some TV programs on the local channel, and some commercials will show initiatives that are in the ballot for changes in our state. We had a bit of discussion on our beliefs about these initiatives, and then he asked me when I plan to vote. I told him that I actually have, and all that is left for me to do is mail my ballot in, which I plan to do tomorrow. He asked me how I got it, and I told him that we received the "voting" cards in the email, and I turned mine in to request for my mail-in ballot.
He said he cannot remember what he did with his. And then he had a realization that he probably threw it away. I told him that it's not a big deal, he can go to the voting center still. He said it's not the same and he jokingly said that it is my duty as his wife to keep him organized. I, of course, told him that organization is a personal initiative and should not be left as a sole responsibility of another person.
So now, my husband and I are running our own poll and voting: is it the wife's responsibility to organize for the husband?
We had some very interesting insights, from simple, reasonable ones to outrageous and hilarious ones.
